Ozeryany (Ozerany) - at the end of the 19th century the village of Volyn province, Dubno district, Varkovichi volost.
According to the audit of 1847, the Ozeryany Jewish Society consisted of 208 people.

According to the census of 1897, in Ozeryany total residents 1111, of which 1013 Jews.

The Jewish agricultural colony near the village of Ozeryany was founded in 1848 on state land by immigrants from various towns of the Volyn province.

In 1885, 798 people lived in Ozeryany, of which 749 were Jews. The synagogue and the inn acted.

In 1898, there were 637 people of the Jewish population. The possession of the colonists had only 246 acres of land, as a result of which they were occupied mainly by crafts.

In 1913, Jews owned all 4 shops (3 grocery and 1 manufactory), and the only tavern.

Approx. 1 thousand Jews of Ozeryany were killed by the Nazis on October 7, 1942 in the Varkovychi Ghetto.
