In the 16-18 centuries in the Commonwealth. From 1795 - as part of the Russian Empire. In the 19th - beginning of the 20th century - the township of Vladimir-Volynsk district of the Volyn province. In 1919–39 - in the Volyn Voivodeship as part of Poland, in 1939–91 - as part of the Ukrainian SSR.
In 1784, 77 Jews lived in Korytnytsya,
in 1847 - 384,
in 1870 - 260 (40,1%),
in 1921 - 279 (78,6%),
In 1931 - 350 Jews.

Volodymyr district, Volyn region
Jews lived in Korytnytsya since the 16th century. In 1628 in Korytnytsya there was a synagogue.
In 1648, the Jewish community defeated by B. Khmelnitsky.
In the end of the 18th century there were 2 synagogues.
In 19th - beginning of the 20th century Jews were engaged in crafts and trade.
In 1913, Jews owned an only tavern and all 6 shops in township.
In the 1920-30s, branches of various Jewish parties and organizations acted in Korytnytsya.
The Jewish population of Korytnytsya was destroyed during the Shoah.
