From 1793 - as parts of the Russian Empire. In the 19th - beginning of the 20th century - the townships of Lutsk district of the Volyn province. Horodok was a volost (subdistrict) center. Also two shtetls in Horodok subdistrict were Hulevychi (now the village of Hulivka) and Troyanivka.
In 1847, 71 Jews lived in Horodok,
In 1897 - 188 Jews (16,8%).
In 1913, Jew Mendelboym owned only shop in township. Town's doctor also was a Jew.
