In 1657godu, on the steep right bank r.Nemiyki, a stone castle was built. In 1690, during the occupation by the Turks skirts, Ozarinetskaya fortress was destroyed, and only after the liberation in 1699 - rebuilt.

Jews have lived in Ozaryntsi with 15. In the 18th century. Here there was a Jewish cemetery in the early 19th century. the synagogue was built.

Since the end of the 1920s. Ozaryntsi become the center of Jewish national village council.
In 1920-ies. Ozaryntsi acted in an illegal Zionist youth organization. In 1920-30-ies. He worked as a school with instruction in Yiddish. At the end of the 1920s Jewish collective farm was created by him. Petrovsky.
In 1931 all three synagogues were closed: one building transferred into a club, the other two - by warehouses.
In July 1941 Ozaryntsi occupied by German and Romanian troops. July 19, 1941 killed 43 Jews on July 26, 1941 - 28 Jews.
August 28, 1941 alive 86 Jews were burned in the synagogue.
In Ozaryntsi ghetto was created, which in November 1941. Except local residents, contained about 2000 Jews from Bessarabia and Bukovina. Most of the Jews of the ghetto died of hunger and disease. As of September 1, 1943 in Ozaryntsi there were only 40 Jews from Bessarabia and 47 - from Bukovina.
March 17, 1944, before retreating Nazi troops, was killed by another group of Jews in Ozaryntsi.
After the liberation of the Jews returned to Ozaryntsi. In 1944-45 Ozaryntsi worked in a school with instruction in Yiddish.
In 1970, in a population of 5 Ozaryntsi Jews. In 2012 the Jews did not live in the former town...
