Nadvirna district, Ivano-Frankivsk region
Mykulychyn, village in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. In the 19th-early 20th centuries-in the Obvornyanskiy Directs of the Galicia Provinces as part of Austria-Hungary. In 1919–39 - in the Stanislav Voivodeship as part of Poland, in 1939–91 - as part of the Ukrainian SSR.
In 1921, 552 Jews (10.4%) lived in Mykulychyn,
in 1939 - 350 Jews (7.1 %).
Jews have lived in Mykulychyn since the end of the 19th century. In the 1920-30s in Mykulychyn acted branches of various Jewish parties and organizations.
The rabbi was Moishe Kanol.
June 30, 1941 Mykulychyn occupied Hungarian troops.
In mid -July, the Wehrmacht detachments entered the village. Judenrat was created.
In October 1941, several hundred local and Jews deported from Hungary were shot.
In total, 675 Jews were killed in the village.
