Roztoky (ukr. Розтоки; until 18 century - Tysova Rovnya), known from 1501. In the 19th-early 20th centuries - the village of the Vizhnits eldership of the province of Bukovina as part of Austria-Hungary. In 1918-40 - as part of Romania, in 1940-91 - of the Ukrainian SSR.
In 1910, about 200 Jews lived in Roztoky (9%).
At the beginning of the 20th century among the Jews of Roztoky were 20 merchants, 9 artisans.
After the occupation by troops of the Wehrmacht in Roztoky in July 1941, 50 Jews were killed, the rest were deported to Transnistria.
