Miliieve (ukr. Мілієве), known since 1445. In the 16-18 centuries in Moldavian principality. In the 19 - beggining of the 20 centuries - the village of Mille-Villavche in the province of Bukovina as part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In 1918-40 - as part of Romania, in 1940-91 - as part of Ukrainian SSR.

In the 17th century 3 Jewish families lived in Miliieve,
in 1880 - 190 Jews (11%),
In 1910 - 180, in 1930 - 197 Jews.

Jews lived in Miliieve from the 2nd half of the 19th century.

July 5, 1941, after the retreat of the Red Army, the Jews of Miliieve were killed by Ukrainians before the occupation of the village by the Romanian army. The murder was organized by a member of the Bukovinsky Kuren OUN Petro Voinovsky. 118 people were killed (according to other sources - 78).
The remaining Jews were later deported to Transnistria.
